Yes. Captain Club exists specifically for this. If you own a boat in South Florida and want a licensed captain to operate it, you join as a member and book through the app. The captain comes to your dock, you don't need to go anywhere or rent anything.
Every captain on the platform holds an active USCG license, carries personal liability insurance, and has passed a background check. License levels vary, many captains hold 50-Ton or 100-Ton Master Captain credentials, verified during the application process.
Members can book cruises, fishing trips, sunset and date night experiences, bar hops, boat training sessions, and custom trips. All experiences are available as half day (4 hours) or full day (8 hours).
Standard bookings require 48 hours notice. The Captain Club app shows real-time captain availability so you can plan ahead or book as soon as a slot opens up.
If a captain cancels, Captain Club will work to match you with the next available qualified captain. If a mechanical issue is discovered at the dock during the pre-departure checklist, the captain will notify you immediately and the trip can be rescheduled at no additional cost.
